After missing all of Monster Energy AMA Supercross due to a serious leg injury, Casey Cochran was rounding into form through four rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship.
Following back-to-back top 10 finishes at Thunder Valley and High Point, Cochran qualified ninth at Southwick. However, in the second 250 qualifying session Cochran sustained a dislocated shoulder in a crash and missed both motos.
Upon further evaluation this week, the team announced on Thursday that Cochran will miss the remainder of the season and undergo surgery to repair the injury.
Per the team, the injury included ligament damage that will require surgical repair and the timeline on his recovery currently means he will miss the rest of Pro Motocross.

He’s shown incredible determination, and we were looking forward to getting a full outdoor season under his belt, but Casey is an extremely determined rider and we’re confident he will put in the work to get back on the bike as soon as he can.”
