Lulu has the audacity to claim that it was her story to tell, not Brooklyn’s, despite having previously neglected to inform her own son about his birth due to her preoccupation with locating Charlotte. Following Charlotte’s discovery, Lulu became increasingly invested in scrutinizing Brooklyn’s personal life while continuing to withhold the truth from her son.
This hypocrisy is striking, particularly given her willingness to divulge Brooklyn’s private matters, effectively treating her as if she had relinquished her child solely to exclude Dante from his life, rather than due to the complexities of their youth. I awaited Brooklynn’s retort, expecting her to defend herself against Lulu’s unwarranted intrusion into her personal affairs, highlighting the double standard wherein Lulu feels entitled to pry into others’ lives while demanding that her own remain private.
