BREAKING NEWS: Wrexham Target has expressed his intention to join Wrexham…

Wrexham are currently the frontrunners to sign CF Montréal striker Sunusi Ibrahim, according to sources speaking to GIVEMESPORT.

Although Montréal have yet to receive any official offers for Ibrahim, they reportedly value the Nigerian forward between $300,000 and $500,000. While multiple clubs are monitoring the 22-year-old, Wrexham are believed to be leading the pursuit. Ibrahim is under contract with Montréal through 2026, with an option for 2027.

Despite limited playing time this season, Ibrahim has shown his effectiveness in previous campaigns, notably scoring seven goals in just over 1,000 minutes last year—his best season since joining Montréal in 2021.

Wrexham recently secured a spot in the EFL Championship, marking their third consecutive promotion since being acquired by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The club has benefited from significant investment, which has fueled its rapid climb through the English football system.

The Welsh side finished second in League One with 92 points, gaining automatic promotion. Their squad features seasoned players like James McClean, Jay Rodriguez, and Steven Fletcher, along with others such as Ollie Palmer and Sam Smith.

Known for his upbeat personality, Ibrahim is also seen as a potential fan favorite for viewers of Welcome to Wrexham, the hit documentary series chronicling the club’s dramatic rise.
