This fall, Robert Plant will return to the U.S. for a tour alongside his band, Saving Grace. The former Led Zeppelin frontman formed the group in 2019 and spent time playing with them during England’s COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. “They’ve become distinctive in their style, and together we’ve found something truly special,” Plant shared in a press release announcing the tour.
Saving Grace, which includes vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, multi-instrumentalist Matt Worley (banjo and strings), and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, has been performing together for the past six years and is currently touring Europe.
Plant’s most recent U.S. appearance was in September 2024 with Alison Krauss. The duo, known for their Grammy-winning 2007 album Raising Sand, also released a follow-up in 2021 titled Raise the Roof. Over the years, Plant has also toured the U.S. with projects like the Band of Joy in 2010 and the Sensational Space Shifters in 2025.
A U.S. tour with Saving Grace was originally planned for 2020 but was canceled due to the pandemic. Speaking about the group, Plant said, “We laugh a lot. I enjoy that. I’m not jaded or overly serious. These musicians are expressing things they’ve never had a chance to before, and it’s brought us to a fascinating place.”
