BREAKING NEWS: Heat’s Pat Riley Has Approved $105 Million Trade for Former Top-3 Pick…

Miami Heat fans would like to see the front office make a real drive to sign Kevin Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo, but finding a player of this quality may be difficult.

The Heat have repeatedly failed to trade for superstars this decade, most notably Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell.

To decrease expectations, FanSided forecasts that the Heat would pursue a trade for Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green, who is coming off a dismal postseason.

Green and the Rockets were eliminated in the first round by the Golden State Warriors, who were seeded seventh. The 23-year-old recognized his lack of productivity on several times, but it’s tough to overstate the impact his 13.3 points per game on 37.2 percent shooting had on the series’ conclusion.

Houston may decide it’s time to move on from Green owing to his inconsistency since entering the league. However, selling him to the Heat severely limits the Rockets’ potential to sign a superstar, such as Durant or Antetokounmpo.

Heat Predicted To Pry NBA Champion Away From Warriors In Expensive Free Agency Move
As a former No. 2 pick with a three-year, $105 million contract, he is an ideal piece to include in a blockbuster trade with the Phoenix Suns or Milwaukee Bucks.

His youth and scoring ability should appeal to the Heat, but it’s unclear why the Rockets would desire a return package from them. If Houston is willing to trade him to the Heat, it’s a high-risk gamble that could pay off for years to come.
