New England Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams missed the team’s rookie minicamp on Friday due to a medical condition, head coach Mike Vrabel announced.
Although Vrabel did not specify the nature of Williams’ condition, he mentioned that Williams is eager to get back to work. In his absence, inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr is taking over his responsibilities.
Williams has stayed connected with both the coaching staff and players through Zoom meetings.
Vrabel brought Williams onto the Patriots’ coaching staff shortly after becoming the team’s head coach in January. Prior to this, Williams spent six years working under Vrabel with the Tennessee Titans.
