HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: Detroit Lions Now Closing Big Deal For Free-Agent veteran Pass Rusher

EDGE of the Detroit Lions Aidan Hutchinson, with minimal assistance from a wingman, is exerting every effort to reach opposition quarterbacks. The Lions have experimented with a number of pass rushers over the last two seasons, but injuries and inconsistent play have left the “Robin” position next to Hutchinson open.

A new name is now showing up in the chat.

A New Choice for Veterans Emerges
Author Mark Stolte linked the Detroit Lions to Emmanuel Ogbah, the seasoned edge rusher who most recently played for the Miami Dolphins, in a recent Pro Football Network piece titled “1 Remaining Free Agent Every Team Should Sign Now.”

Ogbah, who has displayed moments of genius during his career, would not be extremely expensive, which is crucial now that Detroit is considering long-term deals for players like Aidan Hutchinson and Kerby Joseph, to mention a few.

“Ogbah should be a very affordable option for Detroit, which is the most important factor in signing him,” Stolte stated. “When all of these young guys are looking for new deals, they’re going to have to pay a hefty price.”

Starter or Depth? It Makes Sense
Ogbah’s advantage is that he doesn’t have to get started right away. He may be used as a backup or as a rotational player, which Detroit’s edge group is all too familiar with.

It serves as yet more reminder that Brad Holmes is probably keeping an eye on things, whether or not this move materializes. And every addition matters as hopes of winning the Super Bowl increase.
